The jackal buzzard found its way on to the first labels when the packaging was redesigned in 2010 and they have been part of the design ever since, even if they had to be hidden next to images of ears growing vine leaves. From the outset the Sequillo project was a journey or a flight into unknown territory. The team wanted to put together a multidimensional blend of interesting and lesser-known varieties with huge potential and wanted it to be an accessible expression of the Swartland terroir.
