The Tea Leaf
750 metres above sea level ancient bush vine Chenin Blanc grows amongst, and vies for the same harsh mountain soils, as Piekenierskloof's indigenous Rooibos tea plants. In the small hours winemaker Donovan Rall stole away with the fruit to The Tea Leaf Chenin Blanc, a naturally fermented expression of this terroir which once was lost but now is truly found.
